David & Sallys English Adventure
The 'hood

We stayed near Paddington Station so David would have easy access to the trains to Oxford. We stayed in Maida Vale because Sally always wondered what the area was like. We stayed at The Colonnade Hotel because it looked lovely and was 50 meters from the Warwick tube station.
We would stay there again because there is a house-cat named Mouse. [and the plumbing was good.] And the hotel is very, very lovely. [and 50 meters from the tube!]
Mouse rejecting a nice bordeaux...

right: the 'hood, bumps and all...
Life in "Little Venice"... exclusive, funky and damp.

right top: "mea culpa" - an interesting name for a barge...
right bottom: nearer Paddington the ambience deteriorates, but not the quality of the boat decorations
